Sizing in Coins, Not Contracts
Because a bitcoin lot is one coin, the math is refreshingly direct: your position in coins is your dollar risk divided by the dollar distance to your stop. Risking $100 with a $2,000 stop means 0.05 BTC. Most brokers accept fractional lots, so you can size precisely rather than being forced up to a whole coin.
Bitcoin volatility is high and it never closes, so a position can move a long way while you sleep or over the weekend. Size smaller than you would on a forex pair for the same account, and let the stop, not a bigger position, do the work of capturing the move.
